While they sleep, I keep wake recounting my blessings, the “thick and thin” times I’ve encountered already after “you” and I started a successful journey and ended up breaking home along the way.
While they sleep, I’m kept awake by “the nights” “wild dreams”, “lying down” all by myself drowning in the tears of your “pains” at the expense of my goals.

The journey gets blurry along the way, and I look “in the stars” hoping to be led by the “starlight” to your hideout because I want Us to be “alone together”, “always with me”, setting realistic goal targets for our journey.

My “lifeline” is likened to “three little birds” on the mystery tree at the centre of the Eden garden.
Recounting “ten days” into our meeting; “the first time ever I saw your face” believing it’s a dream come true.
Only for the mystery to unfold right before my eyes vie two of the three birds “killing me softly” into my untimely “ashes”.

While they sleep, they keep snoring to my prayers. “I surrender” my dream to waking up.
That’s because “I have a dream” which being chased, would “complete me” into “my level” of stardom. Not for the fame but the affiliations and impact I dreamt of.

While they sleep, I “overthink” of the “ex I never had”. But in spite of everything, “the show must go on”.
We keep believing and inching closer to the 90 minutes by "the nights" and days we pursue the goal post, fearless of our opposition, and as friendly as touring the wilderness in this Journey Of Life.
