Prologue

The concept of “She Returned Lifeless - In Search Of Her Husband” tells a true story of a mother who couldn’t keep her promise to the sister and son. 

The aftermath of her demise is as tragic as her mysterious exit.

Ideally, this is a creative composition using a list of artiste tracks. A passionate writer making effective use of his leisure to inspire, promote, influence and impact others livelihood.

[We don’t share same story… growing up. “Sorry” Mama, for returning your body, lifeless, to your family. I had to return home, to inquire about the mystery yet untold]

 

Eighteen years ago, one fateful day, “Mama” bid farewell to her younger sister, leaving in the sister’s care, her eldest son and assuring them of returning to live together, in search of her husband who had left the village for greener pastures. 

Little did they know it was the end.

It was the “end of time” of their stay together. Mama actually left the son in the sister’s care and never fulfilled the promise of coming back. 

Before leaving, Mama left also in her sister’s care, a fully completed self-contained house, built together with the husband who had left the scene for some years. 

While leaving, Mama went along with her youngest son, who was four years old at the time. 

It’s told, Mama was fortunate to find her husband and the aftermath?

Mama went to her mother-in-law’s hometown where a family funeral took place. 

Coincidentally, her husband attended the funeral and she was fortunate to meet him. 

After the funeral, they both left to the husband’s new whereabout to live life as they were. 

The mystery which remains untold till date, unknowing to anyone but the husband and the son whose memory never serves him right, takes place.

Probably after six months of Mama’s absence from home and with no traits of her whereabout location to the sister, her dreams turn “wild dreams" and her hopes never realized.

Dated 28th December, 2004, the husband returned to Mama’s family with the news of her mysterious death. 

The cause and actual date of her demise remains a mystery to the family. 

The four year old Mama went along with returned as a five year old.

[I’m sorry mama and brother, for failing to return Mama in the state she promised you, and to live together as we used to.] 

18 Years On

After haven cared for the eldest son Mama entrusted in her sister’s care, he grows up to be a torn in the mother’s flesh.

He teams up with his father’s cousin to evict his mother’s sisters together with their mother (his grandmother) out of the same house Mama built with her husband.

Ⓜ️

Both sisters and their mother (my grandmother) are rendered homeless out of their sister’s house and are forced to rent a house for themselves whilst the sister’s house is being offered as rental to others. 

With this Mama, may your soul rest in peace, I pledge with my last “lifeline” to seek justice for your mother and sisters, of their rightful place, in the house you built, even if I have to lose my surname to your husband and live fatherless. 

“Thank You” for a life, Well Lived.

Justice, I seek!
